Been A Bit Quiet Around Here...
I am still alive, but all of my efforts are going into producing the soundtrack to Where The Yellowstone Goes. I have been fully immersed in the creative process and having seen lots of footage I can assure you this is going to be a fantastic film.

Corinna, Corinna...
Just thought I share a Dylan cover I recorded on Monday. A nice moment of relaxing amongst a busy schedule...

Congratulations!
Big round of applause to Hunter, Sarah and the crew who managed to beat their kickstarter target by a clear margin this weekend gone. Thanks to anyone who visits here who may have donated. If none of my visitors donated... SHAME ON YOU!
In other news, I have been very busy in the studio, creating all sorts of audio oddities for various projects. I have once again fallen in love with open tunings on my guitar and expect them to be featuring far more regularly than normal in my new material.
I'm still remastering 25 Golden Grapes, it's just that my time is being used up by contemporary projects so I'm finding it hard to fit in a retrospective one. Soon though, it will finally be available again.
Nothing else to report except sleep deprivation and hunger. Jog on!

Where The Yellowstone Is Going...
Folks, there are only a few days left and only a few dollars needed! Ok, about $2200 plus or minus a few, but this will be worth every cent! Donate as much as you can, but don't think of it as a donation, think of it as a purchase! For a mere $25 you get two movies and eternal gratitude! That is a bargain! Help Hunter, Sarah and the crew meet their target and get the film the distribution it deserves. Get Demis CousCous playing through cinema speakers and when you see and hear it think, "I did this".
This is a true independent film venture and deserves far more support than any stupid Kenneth Brannagh Norse Mythology mishmash nonsense starring Sir Anthony Paycheck. Don't buy Star Wars on Blu Ray now that Lucas has pooped all over it, buy Where The Yellowstone Goes now that Hunter has poured his soul into it.
Don't watch idiot losers poop through their mouths on *Insert Country Here*'s Got Talent. Watch these genuinely talented people doing something special.
Help make this happen!

25 Golden Grapes - Remastered!
Eagle-eared listeners may have noticed a few old-school cover versions turning up on my soundcloud page. This is because I'm currently in the process of remastering the long lost 25 Golden Grapes collection (it was down the back of my sofa as predicted). I expect it to be dropped into your headphones within days in glorious remastered lo-fi digital bit rate things. I'm also treating it to brand new artwork, replacing the stock photograph of grapes that the original release had. Keep your ears peeled and your eyes round... Here comes an old sound...

Mackerelheads Live!
Ah... The last dying breaths of a haphazzard drunken collective of songers... Here's a song from the Mackerelheads farewell concert back in 2008. Hazy/ heady days...

I Am Now On Soundcloud
There are now two Demis CousCous related pages on Soundcloud.
The one with the stuff you probably already know.
and
The one with recent instrumental stuff on it.
There you go. Follows and comments always welcome...

Support The Yellowstone Film
Help get the new Hunter Weeks documentary Where The Yellowstone Goes the distribution and financing it deserves. All you need to do is pledge a small amount (for which you will receive a DVD or Blu Ray) or you can pledge even more and get to be an executive or associate producer and go to premieres and generally feel great about yourself for having helped support a brilliant indie production by a great filmmaker.
It's got great music too, from what I've heard...

Important Note About Downloading
I've noticed several people have been accessing the album pages on this blog to download. The links on these pages are to my old Rapidshare account which was discontinued after I launched my own website, where the albums are now held.
The old Rapidshare links may well still work but they could be removed at any point by Rapidshare as a dormant account. If you want to download any of my music, make sure you visit the website to do so. There is no waiting time or limits as the files are directly stored by myself.
Visit www.demiscouscous.co.uk and download from the links on the right.

Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want
Well go on, let me. I said please like three times already... What do you want, blood?
I was tempted to edit some footage of looters for this but thought better of it.

The Limbosene
Here's a video I made last year and forgot about. There were a couple of alternate versions, but I thought I'd give you the yellow one...
I was halfway through doing one in which I'd animated some extra bits, but It doesn't look like that'll be finished any time soon. If I do finish it, it'll be released as the directors cut to make me feel important for five minutes.

Here's the trailer for a fantastic looking documentary by award winning US filmmaker Hunter Weeks (10mph, Ride The Divide) featuring music by Demis CousCous (under a different name).
Enjoy!
